I am from Indiana, and was only in town for a few days to look for a new house in Cornelius, OR.  I was very worried that I would have to significantly sacrifice to find a home that I could afford.  Knowing I was in town for only a short time, Melodee scheduled several house tours, and made me a priority.   We looked at a number of properties, and I was soon discouraged at what was available in my price range.  We then looked at a home that was at the top of my price range.  I liked it very much and was ready to put in an offer.  It was a short sale, and Melodee researched it thoroughly before suggesting what I offer  -- which was thousands of dollars less than what I was prepared to offer! I went back to Indiana and in only a few weeks - the bank accepted my offer!  Then we had the home inspection.  For a distressed property, the house was in good condition, but there were some issues.  Melodee suggested that I ask for 50% of the cost to make repairs.  I was very skeptical that the bank would agree, but since Melodee thought it was worth asking for, I was ready to try.  Less than three weeks later, the bank countered and the difference was less than $200!   The bank gave me almost everything I asked for!  I now own a beautiful home in an upscale neighborhood and I was able to purchase it at a remarkable price.   I credit Melodee's work to have completed this sale in such a successful manner." - Joana J.  It's almost been a year that we've been in our new home & we love it.  Gail & I wanted to thank you for the help you provided by agreeing to be our listing, as well as the selling, agent involved in this transaction. 
 
We knew it was a bit unorthodox to have one person for both jobs, but we both felt that your knowledge and expertise in real estate would be an advantage to getting the job done as quickly & professionally as possible.
